About Us

Get to know our family!

We are so blessed that we have been able to continue this each year for our friends, family, and community. It started out in 1992 as a wonderful way for us as a family to portray the Christmas story. Not knowing that it would continue to grow each year and have so many people that tell us year after year that this now is one of their family traditions. We are honored that you continue to support us and we pray that we will see you all each year. Have a blessed Christmas and New Years!

Ken & Bonnie (Bierman) Kirsch moved to Pendleton County before giving birth to their fifth child. They bought a farm in 1976 on Jacobs Road. They wanted to move their family from the city to the country. Ken worked in Ohio through the week and farmed in the evenings and weekends. Some know the farm as "Breezy Bend Farm". Over the years we have raised tobacco, hay, corn, turkeys, rabbits, chickens, cows, horses, sheep, pigs, and goats. They raised their children in church and to love Christ! Bonnie passed away in July 2022, but will always be in our hearts.

Grandparents

Edward & Betty (Hochmuth) Bierman moved to Pendleton County shortly after Ken & Bonnie moved from the city. They built an A-Frame on the family farm back Jacobs Road. They are a huge part of our solid Christian foundation in our family. Edward past away in 2009, but will always be in our hearts. Betty now lives with Ken at the original farm house.

Children & Grandkids & Great-Grandkids

Edward Kirsch- first born - married Tammy (Kyle) and had the first grandchild Kyle Kirsch. They live on Morford Road and have several lights on display too. Kyle is the second grandchild to be married - he married Tiara (Bartels) in June 2020 and Kaitlyn her daughter is the third great-grandchild (Live on Hwy 10 with several lights to enjoy too).

Kenna (Kirsch) Knight - second born - married Tim and have three children: Moriah (Conrad), Kelsey, and Clay. They live on the original family farm. Moriah is the first grandchild to be married - she married Eric Conrad in 2013. In 2016 they had the first great-grandchild, Jessalyn & then in 2019 had the second great-grandchild, Davis. In April of 2021, Kelsey married Jesudas Joseph and they live in Oregon.

Dale Kirsch - third born - married Jamie (Thornton) and have two children: Gabrielle and Cody. Dale past away in 2010, but will always be in our hearts. In October 2023, Cody married Bethani and they live in DeMossville.

Matthew Kirsch - fourth born - married Julie (Hargett) and have three children: Jordan and twins Aaron & Austin. They live on a farm that joins into the original family farm.

Josie (Kirsch) Arkenau - fifth born - married Bryan and have two children: twins Lindsey & Nicholas. They live on Flour Creek Road and have several lights on display too.
